Return Policy

This Return Policy outlines the cancellation, refund, and rescheduling procedures for all group walk packages and guided route experiences booked through Tendonnature at tendonnature.world. Because our products are experiential services rather than physical goods, traditional "returns" do not apply. Instead, this policy governs how you may cancel or modify your walk booking and under what circumstances you are entitled to a refund or alternative arrangement.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Return Policy applies to all walk packages offered by Tendonnature, including but not limited to:

  • Manhattan Morning Circuit ($35 per participant)
  • Central Park Sunset Loop ($45 per participant)
  • Brooklyn Bridge Waterfront Trek ($55 per participant)
  • Custom and private group walks arranged through our contact page or direct communication with our team
  • Gift walk packages arranged for third-party recipients through our contact page

This policy does not apply to third-party services accessed through links on our website, such as external transportation or accommodation providers you may use in connection with your walk experience.

2. Cancellation by Participant

2.1 Standard Cancellation

You may cancel your confirmed walk booking and receive a full refund of the confirmed booking amount under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation is requested at least twenty-four hours before the scheduled walk start time
  • Cancellation is submitted in writing via our contact form at reach-us.html, by email to support@tendonnature.world, or by phone at +16469439160 during business hours
  • Your cancellation request includes your full name, booking confirmation reference, and the walk package name and date

2.2 Late Cancellation

Cancellations made less than twenty-four hours before the scheduled walk start time are not eligible for a refund. The full booking amount will be retained by Tendonnature. We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise, and in cases of documented emergencies such as hospitalization or severe personal hardship, we may offer a partial credit toward a future walk at our discretion. Contact us with supporting documentation to request consideration under these exceptional circumstances.

2.3 No-Show Policy

If you fail to arrive at the designated meeting point within fifteen minutes of the scheduled walk start time without prior notification, your booking will be classified as a no-show. No-shows are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling. Our guides are unable to delay group walks for individual participants, as this affects the experience of all other walkers in the group.

3. Rescheduling

Participants may reschedule a confirmed walk booking to an alternative available date under the following terms:

  • Rescheduling requests made at least twenty-four hours before the original walk date are processed at no additional charge, subject to availability on the requested new date
  • Rescheduling requests made within twenty-four hours of the original walk date may incur a rescheduling fee of ten dollars per participant to cover administrative and guide coordination costs
  • Each booking may be rescheduled up to two times. Additional rescheduling requests may be treated as a new booking subject to current pricing
  • Rescheduling to a different walk package is permitted if the price difference is paid or refunded accordingly. Seasonal route availability may limit rescheduling options during winter months

To request a reschedule, contact us at support@tendonnature.world with your booking details and preferred alternative date. Our team will confirm availability and send an updated booking confirmation within one business day.

4. Cancellation by Tendonnature

Tendonnature reserves the right to cancel or modify any scheduled walk for reasons including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather conditions including thunderstorms, extreme heat advisories, blizzards, or icy conditions that pose safety risks
  • Insufficient enrollment below the minimum group size of three participants for a scheduled walk
  • Guide unavailability due to illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances
  • Public safety concerns including road closures, construction disruptions, or public health advisories affecting the planned route
  • Force majeure events including natural disasters, civil unrest, or government-mandated restrictions

If we cancel your walk, you will be offered the choice of a full refund using the same payment method agreed at booking confirmation, or a complimentary reschedule to the next available date for the same walk package. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of cancellations at least twelve hours before the scheduled start time via email and phone when contact information is available.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed according to the following timeline and methods:

  • Refunds are initiated within five business days of cancellation approval
  • Refunds to card or bank accounts typically appear within five to ten business days, depending on your financial institution's processing timeline
  • Refunds are issued using the same payment method agreed at booking confirmation. We cannot process refunds to alternative payment methods or accounts
  • Partial refunds, when applicable under exceptional circumstances described in Section 2.2, are calculated based on the proportion of services not rendered and any non-recoverable costs incurred by Tendonnature

You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed. If you do not receive your refund within fifteen business days of cancellation approval, please contact us at support@tendonnature.world for assistance.

6. Group Bookings and Discounts

For group bookings of six or more participants receiving the fifteen percent group discount:

  • If the group organizer cancels the entire booking at least twenty-four hours in advance, a full refund including the discounted amount will be issued
  • If individual members of a group cancel, the group discount remains applicable as long as six or more participants still attend. If cancellations reduce the group below six, the remaining participants will be charged the standard individual price, and the price difference will be collected or deducted from any applicable refund
  • Group rescheduling follows the same terms as individual rescheduling outlined in Section 3, with the group organizer serving as the primary point of contact

7. Gift Arrangements

Walk packages arranged as gifts for other individuals through our contact page are subject to the following additional terms:

  • Gift walk packages are valid for twelve months from the date of booking confirmation
  • The person who arranged the gift may cancel an unused gift package within fourteen days of confirmation for a full refund, provided the gift recipient has not yet redeemed or scheduled the walk
  • Gift packages may be transferred to a different recipient by contacting our team with the original booking confirmation
  • Expired gift packages may be extended by six months for a fee of fifteen dollars, subject to walk package availability

8. Weather Policy

Tendonnature operates walks in a variety of weather conditions to provide consistent service to our participants:

  • Walks proceed as scheduled during light rain. We provide complimentary ponchos to all participants when precipitation is expected
  • Walks may be modified to shorter routes or alternative covered paths during moderate weather conditions at the guide's discretion
  • Walks are cancelled with full refund or rescheduling options during severe weather events as described in Section 4
  • During extreme heat advisories, morning walks may be rescheduled to earlier start times or cancelled with full refund options to protect participant safety

9. Disputes and Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with your walk experience or believe you are entitled to a refund not covered by the standard terms of this policy, please contact us within seven days of your walk date with a detailed description of your concern. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and will review each complaint individually. Our team will respond within three business days with a proposed resolution, which may include a partial refund, complimentary future walk, or other remedy appropriate to the circumstances.
